Iveta Benesova Biography

When she was only seven years old she started playing tennis. Her dream was to become a champion and win many titles. In 1998 she became a professional tennis player and started winning her first trophies and tournaments.

Until now (2007) she has won one WTA single title, three ITF single titles, one WTA doubles titles and four ITF doubles titles. In March 2004 she won the tournament at Acapulco on clay where she met Flavia Pennetta in the final.

The three ITF single tournaments were won at Presov and Opole in 2001 and at Ortisei in 2004. In 2002 she played the final at the tournament in Bratislava against Maja Matevzic, but unfortunately she lost
